ALGONQUIN, IL — Village officials in Algonquin and Lake in the Hills will meet this week in village board and committee meetings. Among the agenda items of interest this week in Algonquin include Monday's planning and zoning commission where commissioners will discuss the final planned unit development for a new Deli 4 You shop and a special village meeting meeting Tuesday where trustees will vote on whether to have village officials apply for DNR bicycle path grant program funds for the construction of the Algonquin Scorched Earth Bike Path Project from Prairie Path Regional Bike Trail (MCCD) to Armstrong Street in the Algonquin Business Park.
