Burrito Parilla Mexicana will open in the former Fradillio's Hot Dogs location. The business is expected to open in early April.

ALGONQUIN, IL — A new Mexican restaurant is expected to open soon in Algonquin. Jose Arenas, the manager for a new Burrito Parilla Mexicana at 2321 W. Algonquin Road in Algonquin told the Northwest Herald the restaurant should open sometime in early April. An official grand opening date has not yet been set.
“There is still work to be done on the interior, but we are happy to announce an early April opening,” Burrito Parilla Mexicana posted to Facebook late last month. “We will make sure to post opening date when it is set.”
The restaurant, which has locations in Batavia, West Chicago, Carol Stream, Lombard, Lisle and Glendale Heights, serves up burritos, tacos, salads and fajitas. The Algonquin business is opening in a location formerly occupied by Fradillio's Hot Dogs.
