No Injuries, 3 Porsches Saved In Barrington Hills Blaze

The fire Wednesday night caused $200,000 in damages.

BARRINGTON HILL, IL – Fire officials believe a house fire that caused $200,000 in damage may have started in a golf cart outside the residence Wednesday night, the Daily Herald reports. No one was injured and three Porsches were "largely spared" in the blaze that brought 20 local fire departments to the home along Ridgecroft Lane just south of Spring Creek Road, fire officials said. Fire crews first arrived at the scene at about 7:15 p.m. and found the garage fully engulfed in flames, according to the article.

The blaze spread through the attic of the garage and house, according to the Daily Herald. No one was displaced.
