The Northern Illinois Fire Museum, which was formerly located in Marengo, opened at 9114 Virginia Road in August.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — A museum that houses vintage fire trucks and fire equipment has moved to Lake in the Hills.
The Northern Illinois Fire Museum, which was formerly located in Marengo, opened its Lake in the Hills location at 9114 Virginia Road in August. The museum has vintage fire trucks dating back to the mid-1800s on display as well as modern fire equipment.
The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
