Police Blotter: DUI, Battery Arrests in Algonquin

ALGONQUIN, IL — The Algonquin Police Department made the following arrests in recent weeks:

• Joseph A. Pinsel, 27, of the 1400 block of Richmond Lane in Algonquin, was arrested at 8:24 p.m. on Aug. 12 on a warrant out of McHenry County and Elgin. He was taken into custody at Randall and Algonquin roads. He was released with a court date in McHenry County and then transferred to Elgin Police Department.
• Marixsa Balderas, 28, of the 0 block of Linden Street in Lake in the Hills, was pulled over at Algonquin and Berg streets at 12:53 a.m. on Aug. 13. She was charged with DUI, DUI over .08, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed. She was released with a court date in McHenry County.
• Thomas J. Noble, 48, of the 1700 block of Tanglewood in Algonquin, was arrested at 7:42 p.m. on Aug. 16 and charged with domestic battery, interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, resisting arrest and aggravated assault to a peace officer. He was taken into custody at his residence then transported to McHenry County Jail.
• Eric N. Palomino, 34, of the 300 block of West Palatine Road in Palatine, was arrested at 7:27 p.m. on Aug. 19 after being pulled over at Algonquin and Meyer roads in Algonquin. He was charged with DUI, DUI over. 08, improper lane usage and following too closely. He was released with a court date in McHenry County.
• Joe R. Schultz, 28, of the 800 block of West Visa Drive in Algonquin, was arrested at 9:55 p.m. on Aug. 23. He was taken into custody at Arrowhead and Hillcrest drives and charged with domestic battery, two counts of criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to a residence. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail.
• Francisco L. Harper, 39, of the 1300 block of Candlewood Drive in Crystal Lake, was pulled over at Algonquin Road and Meyer Drive at 4:05 a.m. on Aug. 25 and charged with DUI. He was released with a court date in McHenry County.
• Luis Villalobos, 41, of the 400 block of Shagbark Court in Algonquin, was arrested at 10:37 p.m. on Aug. 26 at his home. He was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and transported to the McHenry County Jail.
• Atanas Marinov, 34, of the 600 block of Joseph Street in Lake in the Hills, was arrested at Route 62 and Berg Street at 12:26 a.m. on Aug. 29. He was charged with DUI, DUI over .08, illegal lane usage and illegal transportation of liquor. He was released with a court date in McHenry County.
• Kimberly M. Antonsen, 50, of the 400 block of Clover Drive in Algonquin, was arrested in the 400 block of Whitehall Lane at 1:28 a.m. on Aug. 30. She was charged with DUI, obstructing justice and illegal lane usage. She was transported to the McHenry County Jail.
