Missing 15-Year-Old Found Safe: Huntley Police

The girl hadn't been seen since Friday night.

HUNTLEY, IL – On Sunday, Huntley police said the 15-year-old had been found safe and reunited with her family.

The Huntley Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old girl from Huntley.

The teen was reported missing early Saturday morning after her family said she was last seen at her home around 11 p.m. Friday night. Since then, detectives with the Huntley Police Department have been actively working to locate her, according to a news release.

She was last seen wearing black sweatpants, white Adidas shoes with black stripes and either a brown hoodie with black and gray embroidery around the neck or a gray “Norcal Surf Shop” hoodie.

Police say the teen does not have a phone known to her family but may have an unidentified device.

Anyone with information about Emilia’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Huntley Police Department at 847-515-5311, call 9-1-1 if urgent or use the tip line at 847-515-5333.

Parents are encouraged to speak with their children if they may know Emilia and stress the importance of sharing information with police to ensure her safety.
