Prescription Fraud at LITH Pharmacy; Underage Drinking: Blotter
Lake in the Hills Police Department reports from Aug. 9 through Aug. 15.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — The Lake in the Hills Police Department responded to the following reports in recent days:
- Police arrested Deborah Dobry, 55, of Berwyn, at Walgreens, 100 N. Randall Road in Lake in the Hills, for unauthorized possession of a prescription form, forgery, and acquisition of a controlled substance. Authorities were called to the pharmacy at 2:50 a.m. on Aug. 15 to investigate the alleged fraudulent activity. Dobry was turned over to the McHenry County Jail.
- Authorities were called to the 1300 block of Cunat Court at 7:18 a.m. on Aug. 13 for a report of a punctured tire.
- Police received a report of a package stolen from the 5500 block of Chantilly Circle at 2:37 a.m. on Aug. 13.
- A 15-year-old was arrested on a warrant at 1:47 a.m. on Aug. 12 in the 400 block of Prides Run. Police served the warrant to the teen who was wanted for failure to appear. He was turned over to the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center.
- A 14-year-old boy was arrested domestic battery at about 5 a.m. on Aug. 12 in the 100 block of Hilltop Drive. He was charged with two counts of domestic battery and released to his parents.
- A 20-year-old Lake in the Hills man faces charges after failing to report an accident in the first block of Pershing Avenue in Lake in the Hills. Carlos D. Carranza-Rivas, of the first block of Pershing Avenue, was arrested at 11:26 a.m. on Aug. 12. He is charged with failure to give information after striking property, failure to report an accident and improper lane usage and released on bond.
- Police received a report at 9:02 a.m. on Aug. 12 of a concession area that had been damaged at LeRoy Guy Park, 200 N. Annandale Drive.
- A 38-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested at 8:33 a.m. on Aug. 11 on domestic battery charges. Ryan Rapp is charged with two counts of domestic battery/bodily harm and two counts of domestic battery/provoking and/or insulting nature. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail.
- Three subjects were cited for underage drinking at 3:30 a.m. on Aug. 9 in the 200 block of Indian Trail.
