Riverside Plaza Developer Seeks Extension on Rental Project
The village had initially set a Oct. 16 deadline for Breugelmans to begin interior work on the luxury rental units.

The project developer for Riverside Plaza, John Breugelmans, has until the end of this week to secure an $11 million loan in order to receive a 90-day extension from the village of Algonquin to start interior construction, according to the Northwest Herald.
The village had initially set a Oct. 16 deadline for Breugelmans to begin interior work on the luxury rental units and if he does not meet that deadline, the village has said the development would return to its original plan for the space — luxury condos, according to the article.
