Road Closures Could Lead To Late School Buses: D300 Officials
District 300 alerted parents and students Wednesday morning to the situation.
CARPENTERSVILLE, IL --District 3oo school buses may be late to pickup area students this morning after intense storm overnight caused power outages and left debris in area roadways, school officials said Wednesday morning. Several road closures have been reported around the school district, according to a post early Wednesday on the District 300 Facebook page.
"Transportation is working to reroute buses in areas affected by downed power lines and other debris. This may cause delays in pickup times and arrival to schools depending on additional issues with construction and traffic," according to the Facebook post.
