Rockin' Ribfest Underway This Weekend in LITH

Sunset Park in Lake in the Hills will be rockin’ this weekend.

The Lake in the Hills Rotary’s Rockin’ Ribfest got underway Thursday and will continue through Sunday at Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road in Lake in the Hills.

The festival, which is in it 10th year, will include musical entertainment, a car show, and, of course, plenty of ribs to taste-test. Tickets are $5 for those 13 years and older. 

Bands that will be performing at this year’s ribfest include Hoobastank. The band, who released its hit ‘The Reason’ in 2003, will take the stage from 9 to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Little Texas: America’s Favorite Rockin’ Country Band will perform from 9 to 10:30 p.m. on Friday while Wedding Banned will take the stage from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
