Roundabout, New Tennis Courts On Village's To-Do List
Village officials in Algonquin are looking at the budget for the next fiscal Year.
ALGONQUIN, IL — A proposed roundabout, new tennis courts at a local park and completion of work on a bridge are among a $34.26 million in capital projects proposed as part of the village of Algonquin's budget.
The Algonquin Village Board held its first of three budget workshops last week. Among the proposed projects on the village's to-do listproposed projects on the village's to-do list is a modern roundabout at the intersection of North Main Street and Cary-Algonquin Road., according to Shaw Media. In addition, village officials hope to set aside $500,000 to pay for the completion the replacement of the Main Street bridge, which crosses over Ctystal Creek.
Tennis courts at Gaslight Park are also planned for the upcoming fiscal year. .
