Sears To Close Spring Hill Mall Location
Officials say the store will close in February. The mall in West Dundee lost two anchor stores in recent years and will have two remaining.
WEST DUNDEE, IL — Spring Hill Mall in West Dundee will lose another anchor store. West Dundee officials learned Wednesday that Sears plans to close its Spring Hill store in February, the Elgin Courier-News reports.
Liquidation sales are expected to start soon, according to the article. The West Dundee store joins a growing list of Sears locations that have closed in recent years.
In August, Sears announced 26 closings nationwide, including one Illinois store at Stratford Square in Bloomingdale. Spring Hill Mall currently has two anchor stores left: Kohl's and Macy's.
