Splash Pad Expansion at Sunset, Other LITH Park Improvements Proposed
The Lake in the Hills Village Board is expected to vote Thursday evening on changes to the parks master plan.

An expanded splash pad at Sunset Park and a boat pier at Barbara Key Park in Lake in the Hills are among the changes up for approval before the Lake in the Hills Village Board Thursday evening.
The splash pad expansion at Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road, would be placed next to the existing splash pad at the park and is meant to attract children ages 7 to 10 years old, according to village of LITH documents.
If the board approves the new parks master plan Thursday, planning would begin on the splash pad with construction expected to start after Sept. 1 of this year, according to the village board packet.
