Two suburban 17-year-olds face murder charges in adult court, authorities said. A Tennessee man is also charged in the slaying.

CARPENTERSVILLE, IL — A Tennessee man and two suburban teens have been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old Carpentersville man Monday on Oxford Drive in the village, prosecutors said.

The shooting occurred about 9 p.m. as the victim, Jordan Durr, 27, was talking to Joel Leitner, 22, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Devon C. Coleman, 17, of the 600 block of Riverhaven Drive in East Dundee; and Phillip Walker, 17, of the 1800 block of Endicott Circle, Carpentersville, according to a news release from the Kane County State's Attorney's Office.

The trio were inside a park car at 9 Oxford Drive when one of them shot Durr in the left side of the chest, the release stated.
