These LITH Streets Will Be Resurfaced This Year
The village of Lake in the Hills recently approved a contract with Arrow Road Construction to complete the roadwork.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — Resurfacing will soon start on several Lake in the Hills streets that have been earmarked for improvements this year.
Last month, the Lake in the Hills Village Board awarded a contract for Elk-Grove based Arrow Road Construction for $1.318 million. The suburban company has been hired to complete resurfacing work on 3.75 miles of the village's 91 miles of road, according to village documents.
Construction is expected to get underway in the third week of May on these roadways:

- Bellchase Surface Road from Algonquin to South End
- Bernyce Street from Hilltop to Hiawatha
- Impressions Drive from Albrecht to Courtney
- Cedar Ridge Drive from Algonquin to Quail Run
- Chancery Way from Terramere to Winslow Way
- Creekview Lane from Oak to McPhee
- Heron Drive from Barharbor to Miller
- Foxfield Court from Fox Field to End
- Foxfield Lane from Foxfield Court to Grafton Farm
- Hawthorne Road from Algonquin to Acorn
- Lucerne Lane from Miller to Grafton Farm
- Mackinac Street from Barharbor to Barharbor
- Monarch Court from Annandale to W. End
- Navajo Drive from Huron to Pyott
- Oakleaf Road from Pheasant Trail to Acorn
- Pheasant Trail from Oakleaf to Indian Trail
- Quail Run from W. End to Cedar Ridge
- Ronan Court from Albrecht to S. End
- Ronan Drive from Albrecht to Ackman
- Sienna Drive from Danbury to Miller
- Sioux Trail from Delaware to Hiawatha
- Thistle Lane from Banbury to Princeton
- Village Hall Drive from Algonquin to N. End
- Woody Way from Oakleaf to Wander Way
As part of the village's resurfacing program, the existing asphalt surfaces on the above roadways will be ground down and replaced with new asphalt driving surfaces. When necessary, crosswalk interfaces will be upgraded to meet ADA standards.
The first phase of construction will consist of concrete work for curbs and sidewalks, and street resurfacing work will follow. Construction updates can be found on the village's website.
