Trails Of Woods Creek Construction Starting Soon

From the Village of Algonquin:

Pulte Home Corporation is scheduled to begin construction this fall of the Trails of Woods Creek residential subdivision, which is on the former Terrace Hill Golf Course property, located on the south side of Algonquin Road and west of Fairway View Drive. This development contains 278 residential units.

Adhering to the Village’s Conservation Design Ordinance, the natural features and wetlands on the site will be enhanced and most of these areas will be dedicated to the Village for proper long-term maintenance. Additionally, nearly 35 acres of park land with trails and walking paths will be dedicated to the Village.

The initial phases of construction include tree removal and site grading. There are 145 trees on-site will be preserved with an additional net gain of over 1,000 trees on the overall property once the development is completed.

The initial phase of development is expected to be completed in 2021.
