MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Popular pick-your-own strawberry fields in McHenry County opened to the public this past week.

After determining there were enough strawberries to go around, Stade's Farm, at 3709 Miller Road in McHenry, opened its pick-your-own fields on Thursday.

"We have tons of strawberries ready to be picked tomorrow morning," said Vern Stade in a video update Wednesday. " They are all over the place here."
