This commission reviews applications regarding variances, zoning amendments, conditional use permits, and planned unit developments. Members appeal to decisions made by the Director of Community and Economic Development.
The Planning and Zoning Commission is also responsible for reviewing subdivision plats and development plans. Based on the findings, the commission members make recommendations to the Village Board.

The commission meets on the Monday following the second Thursday of every month. The meetings start at 7:30 p.m. and are open to the public.
