Register for the Police Department’s FREE two-hour Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) Training on Tuesday, October 12 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Adults will learn how to prepare, prevent, and react during an active shooter event or mass attack in a variety of workplace and gathering environments, including religious institutions.

CRASE training is built on the 3 principles of avoid, deny, and defend. Topics will include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, medical issues, considerations for conducting drills, how to control the body's physiological response to stressful situations, and more.
