Calling volunteers! Join us to meet new people, have fun supporting events for participants of all ages, and gain experience in the Recreation field.

Whether you’re a student, an adult, a senior, or a parent of a child who participates in our activities, join us to get involved in Lake in the Hills recreation! Volunteer alongside our Recreation staff as they decorate and prepare for events and programs, greet and check in participants, and facilitate exciting community events. 

Our team is excited to meet new volunteers and welcome returning volunteers as they roll out popular fall and winter events, like the Dog Walk of the Dead, the Rockin’ Halloween Lock-In, the Turkey Cup Street Hockey Tournament, and Grinchmas Flurry Fest, to name a few. From children to seniors, our event participants are eager to enjoy varied opportunities for recreation in Lake in the Hills.

Please note, all volunteers must complete the volunteer waiver and release form before helping with events. You may complete the form when you sign up using CommunityPass or complete it now by clicking here. 

 On the day of the event or volunteer time, participants must complete a COVID-19 Self Screening Questionnaire here. Our staff follows CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please practice social distancing. Masks are required at our indoor events.
