Village Shares Impacted Business Relief Program Information

The Village of Algonquin has applied for $350,000 in funding from Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.

The Village of Algonquin has applied for $350,000 in funding from Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) to distribute to eligible businesses on a first-come first-serve basis as a one-time grant. Anticipated grant amounts will vary and are intended to be paid within the range of $5,000 to $15,000, proportional to the amount of documented losses. Village staff will review applications and award grant funds to eligible businesses that complete an application and submit required documentation.

Due to the ES Program requirements, businesses located in Kane County are not eligible for funding through Impacted Business Relief Program and must apply for relief funding through the Kane County Coronavirus Relief Fund.

    • Kane County Businesses:
      • No Deadline, however, businesses are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
    • McHenry County Businesses:
      • December 4, 2020 (5:00PM), however, businesses are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
      • Submit application materials by e-mail to timschloneger@algonquin.org.
