Date Changed for Holiday Rock on the Fox
The annual holiday event will be held on Friday evening instead of Saturday.
ALGONQUIN, IL – The 2018 Holiday Rock on the Fox in Algonquin has been rescheduled due to inclement weather forecasted for Saturday. Rain and a chance of storms are predicted for the day and village officials have decided to move the annual festival to Friday evening instead. Holiday Rock on the Fox will now be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Activities will kick off with the arrival of Santa and the annual tree lighting ceremony. Admission is free, and a donation bin for Toys for Tots will be made available for new, unwrapped toys.
The event will be held at Riverfront Park, 201 North Harrison Street in Algonquin.
