Your Guide To Algonquin's Miracle On Main
The winter festivities will be held this weekend in downtown Algonquin.
ALGONQUIN, IL — It will soon be time again to bundle up and head downtown Algonquin for this year's Miracle on Main.
This year's festivities will run from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday on South Main Street in Algonquin. There will be live music playing along South Main Street, which will be closed off to traffic, and plenty of family-friendly activities, including visits with live reindeer and a chance to chat with Santa.
A new attraction this year will be the Holiday Market, which will be set up between Washington and Madison streets.

We've included the full schedule of events for this year's Miracle on Main below:
- 4:45 p.m. to 5 p.m.:Enjoy Live Performances from the Dickens Carolers, Fox Valley Flourish Baton Twirlers and the Ballet Box Dancers just south of the bridge on Main Street.
- 5 to 5:15 p.m.: Santa arrives! Following his arrival, the lighting of the Tree on the Plaza will take place.
- 5 to 7 p.m.: Visitors can get their pictures taken with Santa, visit with live reindeer, watch a live ice sculptor, write a letter to Santa and drop it off at the North Pole mailbox at Bella Vita Salon. A free cup of hot cocoa (for the first 600 people who stop out) will be available at Riverbottom.
Parking for Miracle on Main is available at Towne Park, 100 Jefferson Street, along Jefferson and Railroad Street, and in the municipal lot located on Harrison Street.
