Your Guide to This Year’s Rockin’ Ribfest

Gates open at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Park for this year's Rockin' Ribfest.

Gates are set to open at 4:30 p.m. Thursday for the 2011 Lake in the Hills Rotary Club’s Rockin’ Ribfest at .

There will be two headliner bands this year, a free car show on Saturday, and, of course, lots of ribs.

Weather

It’s looking to be a hot weekend.

Temperatures are expected to be in the 80s Thursday through Sunday — and Sunday is forecast to be the hottest day with a high of 87 degrees. Expect sunny or mostly sunny skies in Lake in the Hills, although there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday.
