Alsip Marathon Sells $700,000 Winning Lucky Day Lotto Ticket

ALSIP – If you bought a Lucky Day lotto ticket in Alsip, you might to check it right away. Some lucky person won $700,000 in the Thursday, Dec. 5, evening drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Marathon, 5201 W. 111th St., in Alsip and matched all five numbers – 15 - 18- 19 - 24 - 27 – to win the jackpot. The gas station will also receive a bonus of $7,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.

The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Illinois Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
