Alsip Park District Board Taking Applications To Fill Vacancy
Residents interested in applying to fill a vacancy on the Alsip Park District Board may submit letters of interest and resumes by May 10.
ALSIP, IL -- Applications are being taken to fill a vacancy on the Alsip Park District Board of Park Commissioners to fill a vacancy created by the passing of Commissioner Robert Schneider. The appointee would be eligible to serve out the 2-year unexpired term until the Consolidated Election in April 2021, and then run for a 2-year unexpired term from 2021 to 2023.
Residents interested in applying for the appointment may submit a letter of interest and resume to the park board no later than May 10. All applicants must be registered voters and live within the park district boundaries. Correspondence must reference the Alsip Park District Board vacancy.
The park district board reserves the right to appoint any person, or not make the appointment, for any reason it deems appropriate. Mail, email or fax cover letters and resumes to:
