Alsip Park District Hiring Day Camp Counselors For Summer 2026

ALSIP, IL — Lock in your summer gig by joining the Alsip Park District’s summer camp team. The park district is accepting applications for its dynamic 2026 Summer Day Camp team for kids ages 3-14.

As part of the summer camp team, you'll have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children while gaining valuable experience and creating lasting memories. From leading outdoor activities to facilitating arts and crafts, there's never a dull moment at Alsip Parks summer camp.

Applicants must be at least 16 and display responsibility, leadership, creativity and had good communication skills. Applications must be submitted and returned before April 30 to the Apollo Recreation Center, 12521 S. Kostner Ave., Alsip. Available positions include group leader, camp counselor, kiddie camp staff, camp subs and inclusion aides.

Pay ranges from $15 to $16 per hour depending on experience, plus perks, including a complimentary membership to the Alsip Park District fitness center and Sprayfari Aquatic Park during employment.
Mandatory training will take place from May 28 to June 6. Camp will be in session from June 8 through July 28. Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. tp 3:15 p.m., plus two shifts of before/after camp care per week.
