Alsip Parks Hosts Morning Of Haunted Fun and 'Trick or Trunk' Saturday

Enjoy haunted family fun Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Alsip Park District's All Hallows Eve Carnival, parade and trick or trunk at the Apollo.

ALSIP, IL — Show off your Halloween costume at the Alsip Park District's Halloween costume parade and All Hallow's Eve Carnival on Saturday, Oct. 29. The parade and carnival runs from 10 a.m. to noon at the Apollo Recreation Center parking lot, 12521 S.Kostner Ave.

Judges will pick the best costumes and announce winners at the carnival immediately following the parade. Children who have a ticket to the carnival may enter the parade.
The haunted morning features games and prizes, roaming entertainers, hayrides, pumpkins and pumpkin decorating, and a reptile show.

Popcorn and beverages will be served. Each child will have a goodie bag to bring home. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is $5 residents/$7 non-residents or $10 at the door.

Immediately following the carnival, from noon to 2 p.m., bring your bags and buckets for a FREE trick or trunk event. Families are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the Haunts Against Hunger Food Drive.
