Alsip Police Hiring Community Service Officers

The Alsip Police Department is taking applications for part-time community service officers.

ALSIP, IL -- The Alsip Police Department is accepting applications for community service officers. The position performs a wide variety of jobs in the support of law enforcement and crime prevention within the community. Pick up a civilian application at the Alsip police station located at 4500 W. 123rd St.

Community service officers patrol the village and enforce ordinances, answer calls for service from residents and businesses, investigate traffic accidents and ordinance violations and prepare written reports. The position may also require community services officers to assist other agencies or municipal departments in service-related, non-police matters.

The job pays $12.50 per hour, up to 24 hours per week. Candidates must be a high school graduate and be able to pass a background check. An Illinois driver’s license or the ability to get one is required. Learn more about the position and how to apply on the Alsip Police Facebook page.
