Alsip Police Plan Ice Cream Social For 2022 National Night Out

ALSIP, IL — Join the Alsip Police Department for National Night Out this Tuesday, Aug. 2. The public safety event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sprayfari Aquatic Park, 11930 S. Koster Ave.

This year, Alsip police will be hosting an ice cream social. Come meet your local police officers, enjoy a frozen treat, ride the Alsip Safety Express train, and meet some community partners, including the Alsip Fire Department, Alsip Public Works, the park district and SWSRA.

Since 1984, police departments and communities across the United States have held National Night Out events on the first Tuesday in August. More than 38 million neighbors in 16,000 communities throughout the nation will participate in National Night Out promoting public safety and building community.
