Alsip Wedding Venue Victim of Fake Online Ticket Scam: COPS
Cops say "an intimate evening with El Debarge" at Chateau Bu-Sche on ticketing website is fake.

ALSIP, IL -- A scammer has posted a fake event on a ticketing website advertising a non-existent concert at an Alsip banquet facility, police said.
Chateau Bu-Sche reported to Alsip police that someone advertised a phony concert to be held at the wedding and banquet venue on the Eventbrite website, that allows local organizations and event planners to sell online tickets for upcoming events.
The fake event is still visible on Eventbrite , offers tickets to “an intimate evening with El Debarge” by a production company billing itself as “Vanity.” The event portends to sell $200 invitation-only tickets, including “5-Star dinner service,” an open premium bar, dance floor and free parking. An upgraded $350 package includes a “VIP Limousine Experience.”

“This is a scam,” Alsip police said.
