Fun Is Coming Back To Alsip Fun Fest Saturday At Sprayfari Aquatic Park

ALSIP, IL—Get ready for fun because the Alsip Fun Fest is coming back Saturday, June 20. The 2026 merrymaking edition runs from noon to 9:30 p.m. at Sprayfari Aquatic Park, 11930 S. Kostner Ave.

Here’s just a sampling of the exciting offerings by the Alsip Park District, including live bands, Alsip’s Got Talent, children’s games, bouncy houses, watermelon-eating contest, beanbag tourney and best bike stunt competition, capped off by an evening fireworks display.

Fun Fest features a plethora of family-friendly activities, including stilt walkers, vendor info fair, roaming magicians, bubble station, petting zoo, balloon twisters, craft area, carnival rides and other attractions. Satisfy your appetite at the food trucks.

The Simple Remedy, an indie group that combines country, folk, rock, blues, and soul, takes the stage from 5 to 7 p.m.

Fletcher Rockwell, an americana, folk, rock group from Chicago, performs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

The evening ends with a spectacular fireworks show starting around 9:30 p.m.

The park district could also use a few more volunteers to be part of the Fun Fest excitement. Shifts are available from noon to 4 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. Volunteers will receive a super cool T-shirt.
