ALSIP, IL—Inflatables, attractions, a pumpkin patch and reptile show—Halloween doesn't get any better than the Alsip Park District's Halloween Bash this Saturday, Oct. 31. The bash gets going from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sears Park, 123rd and Trumball.
Kids up to age 11 can wear their favorite costume and come out for spooky fun on a rare Saturday Halloween. (Halloween won't fall on a Saturday again until 2037.) The haunted morning features a DJ for your "Monster Mash" dancing pleasure; games and prizes, Crayola craft, pumpkin decorating, hayride, food trucks and more.
Pre-registration is $15 for residents/$20 non-residents by Friday, Oct. 30; $25 the day of the event. Kids 2 and under are free. Use code 193601-A and pre-register at the park district website.
The park district will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items for "Haunts Against Hunger."
Immediately following the carnival, from noon to 1 p.m., there will be a FREE trick or trunk for the community. Children will be able to stroll the Halloween-decorated trunks to collect candy and other goodies.
