Angry Ex Kicks Down Former Girlfriend's Door, Punches Her and Her Sister: COPS
Alsip cops saw man standing on bed kicking woman in head, prosecutor said.

ALSIP, IL -- A 21-year-old man was arrested after he kicked down the door of his former girlfriend’s apartment, then punched and kicked her, prosecutors said Thursday in court.
Justin Mackey appeared before Cook County Judge Patrick Rogers on a charge of home invasion. The prosecutor said Mackey had been in a dating relationship with the woman and the couple had a 2-month-old child.
The alleged home invasion unfolded on Jan. 2 in an apartment building in the 11600 block of South Pulaski Road, Alsip, according to court records. The prosecutor said that Mackey rang the doorbell to the entry door, but his former girlfriend and sister did not buzz him into the building.

Mackey continued ringing the doorbell for ten minutes, until he was eventually let into the building by a neighbor. He was able to enter the woman’s apartment after kicking down the door, the prosecutor said.
Once inside the unit, Mackey allegedly ordered everyone to leave except for his girlfriend and her sister. The prosecutor said Mackey grabbed “an object” from the kitchen and chased three men who were visiting out of the apartment.

Mackey punched the woman in the head. When her sister tried to intervene, Mackey punched her as well, the prosecutor said.
The women were on the bed in the bedroom when Mackey allegedly kicked his former girlfriend in the head. When the sister tried to cover the woman’s head with her hands to protect her, the prosecutor said Mackey kicked her hands as well.
A neighbor called 911 after hearing the commotion. Alsip police said they saw Mackey through the broken door frame, standing on the bed and kicking his former girlfriend's head. According to police, Mackey was sweating and out of breath.
The assistant public defender told the judge that Mackey has been employed in a Woodridge warehouse since October. He lives in Chicago with his mom.
Rogers called the allegations “significant.” Bail was set at $125,000.
The judge ordered electronic home monitoring if Mackey bonds out of jail. Mackey was also ordered to have no contact with the woman and her sister while the case is pending, and to surrender all firearms.
Macke’s next court hearing is st for Jan. 30.
