Cinderella - The Rodgers and Hammerstein Musical, Presented by Beverly Theatre Guild

A mistreated young woman, with the help of a fairy godmother, is transformed to attend a royal ball. She falls in love with a prince and leaves behind a glass slipper, leading to her escape from her cruel stepfamily. This classic rags-to-riches fairy tale with the world’s favorite princess is scheduled to be performed on October 23rd , 24th , and 25th 2026, at the Baer Theater at Morgan Park Academy, home of Beverly Theatre Guild.
Cinderella will be directed by Nikolie Christophy (Chicago), a newer Chicagoland resident originally from Florida. Last seen with BTG on the stage as Lord Farquaad and fight choreographer for our summer storefront theatre show, Nikolie comes to BTG with experience from working at Medieval Times, Universal, and PBS. His wife, the equally talented Samantha Tetzlaff (Chicago), will be producing. Other members of the artistic staff include BTG fan-favorite and low-key singing TikTok star Danielle O’Malley (Evergreen Park) as Stage Manager, the experienced Beck Hokanson (Chicago) as choreographer, and Music Direction by the incredible Stephen Lopez (Homewood-Flossmoor).
Leading the cast as our kind-hearted princess is Sierra Basilio (Chicago) as Ella making her BTG debut alongside Dylan Flaig (Lakeview East) as Prince Topher. Making the magic happen throughout the show is the enchanting Liane Williams (Chicago) as Marie/Fairy Godmother.
Our team of antagonists include Meg Seth (Oak Forest) as the evil step-mother Madame, Emma Mathews (Oak Lawn) as the step-sister with friendship potential Gabrielle, Grace Lenaghan (Darien) as the meanspirited step-sister Charlotte, and Jordayn Fisher (Harvey) as the conniving advisor to the royal family Sebastian. Rounding out supporting roles include Apollo Davis (Chicago) as the dashing revolutionary Jean-Michel, and Ki-Jana Moore (Woodlawn) as the town crier Lord Pinkleton.
Representing the townspeople in the royal kingdom is our talented ensemble including Sammie Ross (Lake Forest) as Dance Captain, Amelia McQuellon (Lincoln Park), Amelia McCabe (Beverly), Emily Wunderle (Edgewater), Jen Lenihan (Oak Lawn), Brandon Thomas (Pilsen), Eliazer Gonzalez (Markham), Derek Gawlik (Darien), Rose Murphy (South Loop), Auani Turner (Chicago), Brittnay La'Nae Robinson (South Shore), Kendall Miriam Grace Schlegal (Irving Park), Lauren Bourret (Mt. Greenwood), Morgan Ayres (Palos Heights), Nicole Norris (Mt. Greenwood), Rebecca Leonard (Frankfort), and Tiffany Hall (Mokena). Members of our adorable children’s ensemble include Ayla Leonard (Frankfort), Lilliana Leonard (Frankfort), Lucia Boik (Beverly), Lucy Rio (Oak Lawn), Lucy Barth (Mt. Greenwood), and Saheli Shah (Lincoln Park).
We are thrilled to announce that for this season, we continue to partner with Chicago Ridge’s Jenny’s Steak and Banquets for a delightful Dinner & Show package. Our Saturday Matinee performance will include ASL interpretation. The Beverly Theatre Guild is Chicago’s longest running community theatre company. BTG shows are performed at the Baer Theater, a 425-seat venue with state-of-the-art sound and lighting, located at 2153 West 111th Street on the campus of the Morgan Park Academy.
