Catholic Charities Blue Island Center Hosts 'Helping Hand' Dinner

Catholic Charities Southwest Regional Center hosts benefit for programs serving poor and disadvantaged persons in south suburbs.

BLUE ISLAND, IL -- Catholic Charities Southwest Regional Advisory Board is presenting the 20th annual Helping Hands Dinner and Auction starting at 6 p.m. March 3 at the Silver Lake Country Club in Orland Park. The event benefits Catholic Charities programs which provide comprehensive services to the poor and disadvantaged in the Southwest suburbs.

Catholic Charities Southwest Region Office is located at 12731 S. Wood Street in Blue Island, in the former St. Isidore School. The center will serve as a regional hub where residents in the south and southwest Cook County suburbs can tap into an array of Catholic Charities services. The office serves the communities of: Lemont, Willow Springs, Justice, Summit, Argo, Bridgeview, Bedford Park, Burbank, Hometown, Evergreen Park, Oak Lawn, Chicago Ridge, Worth, Alsip, Midlothian/Crestwood, Oak Forest, Tinley Park, Orland Hills, Orland Park, Palos Park, Palos Heights, Palos Hills.
