Memorial Day Field Masses Held At Chicago Catholic Cemeteries Across Cook, Lake Counties
Memorial Day Field Masses will be celebrated at Chicago Catholic Cemeteries across Cook and Lake Counties on Monday, May 25.
CHICAGO—Chicago Catholic Cemeteries will be honoring the war dead by hosting field masses on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, The “Serving God and Country” masses will take place at diocesan cemeteries throughout Cook and Lake (IL) counties.
The annual Memorial Day remembrance was established by the National Catholic Cemetery Conference to honor men and women of the armed forces who died while serving their country, as well as active military and veterans.
All field masses start at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 25, at the following cemeteries:
