Co-Worker Wanted For Workplace Squabble: Warrant

Harvey woman is accused of punching a coworker at Alsip transit company. Detective said she wouldn't come in without a warrant.

ALSIP, IL -- Alsip police are seeking a woman wanted for punching a co-worker at a transportation company. Danielle Wilkins Travis, 41, is charged with battery. According to the detective, she said she wouldn’t turn herself in without a warrant.

Travis is accused of punching a co-worker on Dec. 15 at MV Transportation, 12500 S. Lombard Lane in Alsip. The detective said Travis approached another woman from behind, pulled her hair and forced her to the ground. She proceeded to punch her. The two apparently had an argument while at work.

“She somewhat admitted to hitting the woman,” the detective said.

The detective said he talked to Travis. She told him she wouldn’t come in without a warrant. The judge issued a warrant for $5,000.
