Community Shred Day Offered At Apollo Park

Shred and recycle old documents, Saturday, Sept. 17, at Apollo Park In Alsip, hosted by Sen. Bill Cunningham and Rep. Fran Hurley.

ALSIP, IL — If you have boxes of old papers just sitting around, this might be the weekend to do something about it.

State Sen. Bill Cunningham and State Rep. Fran Hurley are sponsoring a paper shredding and recycling event this Saturday, Sept. 17, at Apollo Park, 12521 S. Kostner Ave., Alsip.

Running from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. the event offers you the chance to get all those private and confidential documents shredded and recycled on the spot free of charge.

Please remember to have paper documents in loose bundles with staples, paper, and binder clips removed. Two box maximum per car, only residential, no commercial shredding.
