Crestwood and Alsip Set Halloween Trick-or-Treat Hours

Everything you need to know to celebrate Halloween in 2016, including area local trick-of-treat hours and scary yards.

ALSIP-CRESTWOOD, IL -- It’s trick-or-treat, smell-my-feet, give-me-something-good-to-eat time in Alsip and Crestwood This year Halloween falls on Monday, Oct. 31. Crestwood trick-or-treat hours are set for 3 to 7 p.m.; Alsip's are from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Parents are encouraged to accompany children when they make their rounds. Police will also have extra officers on patrol during trick-or-treat hours, where they’ll be watching for Halloween pranksters and creepy clowns.

Before you head out, check the Alsip-Crestwood Patch 2016 Halloween sex offender map. Police encourage parents and trick-or-treaters to bypass homes where there are no lights as those residents may not be wish to be disturbed, hate children or aren’t at home.

  • Bridgeview - 3 to 7 p.m.
  • Burbank - 2 to 6 p.m.
  • Chicago Ridge Mall - 5 to 7 p.m. at participating stores.
  • Chicago Ridge - 3 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Crestwood - 3 to 7 p.m.
  • Evergreen Park - Kids may trick or treat alone up to 6 p.m., but must be accompanied by an adult after 6 p.m. All trick or treating needs to be wrapped up by 8 p.m.
  • Hickory Hills - 3 to 7 p.m.
  • Hometown - 2 to 6 p.m.
  • Justice - 3 to 7 p.m.
  • Oak Lawn - 3 to 8 p.m.
  • Worth - 3 to 7 p.m.
