Crestwood Fire Chief Under Probe By State’s Attorney: Report
ABC 7 reports that the Crestwood fire chief has been ousted for "questionable expenditures" and may be under investigation.

CRESTWOOD, IL -- Crestwood Fire Chief Jon Bruce has been ousted over questionable expenditures, according to ABC 7 Chicago. Bruce is reportedly under investigation by the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office.
Mayor Lou Presta told ABC-7 that Bruce left the force after a “difference of opinion of how he spent money.” Presta did not provide any information on the amounts or what the money was spent on. The mayor told the TV news station that he “didn't think Bruce's expenditures were possible.”
One local resident claims the money in question is possibly in the six figures. Bruce has been with the Crestwood Fire Department since 1999.
