Crestwood Rec Center Official North Pole Mail Center for 'Letters to Santa'

Children 12 and under can drop off their wish lists through Dec. 13 and receive a personalized certificate from Santa.

CRESTWOOD, IL -- Because Santa Claus still much prefers personal letters to email, the Crestwood Recreation and Wellness Center has been asked by the jolly old elf himself to help with mail delivery to the North Pole.

If your children haven’t yet written their letters to Santa, the CRWC will taking children’s wish lists through Tuesday, Dec. 13. Letters to the big man can be dropped off no later than 6 p.m. on that date at Santa’s Mailbox, located inside the Crestwood Recreation and Wellness Center, 5331 W. 135th St.

Any child that drops off a letter will receive a personalized certificate in the mail from Santa Claus. Santa can only mail the “Official Nice List Certificate” to children that include the following: First and last name, address, city and zip code and, of course, the all-important wish list. Feel free to jot down a few lines inquiring about Santa’s health, Mrs. Claus, the elves and reindeer. Don’t worry, Santa will cover the postage.
