Village of Crestwood will distribute tax surplus to property owners after paying down debt.

Mayor Lou Presta said the village has achieved a $4.7 million tax surplus. About $3.7 will go to pay down the village’s debt. The remainder of the surplus -- a little over $1 million -- will be distributed to property owners.
Applications forms for the surplus can be picked up at Crestwood Village Hall, 13840 S. Cicero Ave. Village hall is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Only the original rebate forms will be accepted, so don’t make photo copies and pass them out to your friends.
