Alsip Job Fair Happens Tuesday, April 11

ALSIP, IL -- Area employers will be collecting resumes and interviewing for numerous positions at the upcoming Alsip Job Fair on April 11 at the Apollo Recreation Center. The job runs from 4 to 8 p.m.

Businesses and organizations will be collecting resumes, applications and conducting onsite interviews at their respective booths. Attendees are encouraged to wear business casual attire and bring lots of resumes.

Prospective employers are seeking candidates to fill a wide array of positions, including seasonal recreation help, community service officers, Alsip police officers, cooks, bartenders, services, forklift machine operators, administrative assistants, retail, engineers, accountants, nurses, technicians and more.

The job fair is being presented through the combined efforts of the Alsip-Merrionette Park Library, the Village of Alsip, Alsip Chamber of Commerce, Calumet Industrial Council, South West Special Recreation Association and First Midwest Bank and Primerica.

The Apollo Recreation Center is located at 12521 S. Kostner Ave., Alsip.
