Free Summer Meal Program Starts Monday for Children and Teens
Free summer meal program starts July 10 at Lane Elementary School for children and youth 18 and under.

ALSIP, IL -- Alsip, Hazelgreen and Oak Lawn Elementary School District 126 will be participating in the federal seamless summer breakfast and lunch program starting July 10. The program makes breakfast and lunch available to all community members under age 18.
Breakfast and lunch will be served Monday through Friday at Lane Elementary School, 4600 W. 123rd St., Alsip. Breakfast will be served from 8:20 to 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be available from 11:40 a.m. to noon. The dates of the program are as follows:
July 10-13
July 17-20
July 24-27
July 31 - August 3
August 7-10

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) ensures that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. This summer, the U.S. Department of Agriculture plans to serve more than 200 million free meals to children 18 years and under.
