Fun For All Ages At 2019 Alsip Fun Fest

ALSIP, IL — There’s going to be a fest and it’s going to be FUN. The Alsip Park District’s Fun Fest kicks off summer Saturday, June 15.

The fest runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Sprayfari Aquatic Park. Among the featured activities are free swimming, live bands, Alsip's Got Talent, children's games and a pie-eating contest, capped off by an evening fireworks display.

Starting at 2 p.m. Saturday, A Week Back takes the stage playing rock covers, current hits and originals, followed by the "we'll play anything" Six 2 Six Band from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Fireworks will light up the sky around 9:30 p.m.

Sprayfari Aquatic Park is located at 11930 S. Kostner Ave. in Alsip.

If you can't fun at the Alsip Fun Fest, officials say, you can't have fun.
