Hazelgreen School Mourns Librarian And Teacher Elizabeth M. King

ALSIP, IL — Elizabeth M. King, a devoted librarian and teacher at Hazelgreen School in Alsip, died June 2. She was 56.

King put in 33 years of service for Alsip-Hazelgreen-Oak Lawn Dist. 126. She was beloved by students and colleagues. The last day of school for Hazelgreen students only will be Tuesday, so that the community may attend her services on Wednesday, June 7.

Visitation for King will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, at Lawn Funeral Home, 7732 W. 159th St., Orland Park. Prayers will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, with a funeral Mass to follow at St. Alexander Church, 7025 W. 126th St., Palos Heights, IL.
