Ryan called the job fair “a vital service” giving attendees, regardless of their background or current circumstances, an ”equitable opportunity to connect directly with potential employers.”

“People deserve to have an opportunity to showcase their talents and skills,” the Evergreen Park lawmaker Ryan said. “Unfortunately, for many in our community, the path to employment can be hindered by a lack of resources, including access to job search tools, professional networking opportunities or even transportation to interviews.”
