Inaugural Golf Outing Raises Money For Worth Township Foundation

Golfers and sponsors are invited to Worth Township Foundation's first golf outing, Sept. 30, at Fountain Hills Golf Club in Alsip.

Alsip, IL – The Worth Township Foundation is looking for golfers and sponsors for its first golf outing Friday, Sept. 30 at Fountain Hills Golf Club, 12601 S. Kedzie Ave., Alsip.

The outing tees off at 1 p.m. with a 9-hole shotgun start and concludes with a dinner and two-hour open bar. Sponsorships are available from a $100 hole sponsor up to an Eagle sponsorship of $1500 or more.

The cost for golf is $80 per person or $300 for a foursome. Dinner only tickets are available for $45 a person. The Worth Township Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

“So far we have had a wonderful response from the public and expect this to be a big event to round out the golf season,” said former Evergreen Park Mayor Jim Sexton, and the foundation’s development director.

Proceeds benefit the Worth Township Foundation, which helps fund such township programs as seniors services, food pantry, youth commission, Christmas Cares, school supplies and general assistance fund for families facing financial hardship.
