Joseph P. Murphy, of Alsip, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the age of 81 years. Veteran Illinois Army National Guard. Beloved husband of the late Carlotta, nee Lukaszewski. Loving father of Brooke L. Murphy Roothaan, Reed (Eleanor) Murphy, Whitney (Kimberly) Murphy, and Barclay (Karen) Murphy. Cherished grandfather of Maia, Oliver, Evan, and Alexander. Loving brother of Elizabeth "Betty" (Peter) Schomer, Patricia (Myles) Laffey, and Patrick Murphy. Dear caretaker of the late Alice Lukaszewski.
